Vision

Kentro’s vision is to create a center that re-energizes the section of Colorado Boulevard between Arkansas and Louisiana. The goal is to create a place where community members live, shop, eat and play. Our vision is always shifting based on the market conditions and input from stakeholders, so please use this page to stay up to date on current site plans and expected uses. No development plans or site plans are final until labeled as such.

Contract Timing/Requirements

Kentro Group closed on the Property in July 2019.

The contract had following requirements:

• Requires the 4201 E. Arkansas Ave. property to be rezoned (Completed)
• Requires construction of 150 for-rent apartments at 60% of Area Median Income (AMI)
• Requires at least 150,000 sq. ft of commercial space
• Requires at least 200 permanent jobs on-site

Transportation/Infrastructure

Kentro understands that any new development and use change will effect traffic patterns in the surrounding areas. Kentro hired traffic engineers and a multi modal traffic consultant to study the traffic implications of development and site activity. The City and County of Denver will be involved in assessing how infrastructure improvements can be made to accommodate the development.
